Tertulia | Women in Architecture

On March 26, a Tertulia at Touzet Studio brought together architects and educators in recognition of Women’s History Month. Organized by AIA Miami in collaboration with Women in Architecture Miami, the gathering framed conversation as a space for reflection and continuity. With contributions from Pat Bosch, Jackie Touzet, Carie Penabad, and Sonia Chao, the evening moved between practice and experience, tracing the ways in which women continue to shape Miami’s built environment. Set in Little Havana, the event reflected on architecture as an ongoing process—one formed not only through buildings, but through dialogue, memory, and the accumulation of shared knowledge.
